Eliana watched on as the elf approached them and bared his set of canine fangs at her. Then she caught his scent. Hatred nearly boiled to the surface as the Imperial woman struggled to keep her emotions under control. "So, this mer is one of those," she thought, her left hand tightening into a...
The Imperial looked at the Khajiit's bag of Skooma with very little interest. She didn't even laugh at the beast-man's remark. The woman stared at him silently as she downed all the mead down her throat in one healthy draught. Suddenly, loud, raucous laughter erupted from the crowded table of...
The Imperial turned to where the voice had come from. She stared at the beast-man called Jo'kar with a cold, emotionless expression. If she was surprised, she didn't show it. The woman glanced over her shoulder to make sure no one had heard him. A pair of young adventurers at a nearby table...

I kinda have a soft spot for Riverwood since it's the first town I reached after I escaped from Helgen. It's small and convenient, and there aren't too many annoying people there :p
I got really creeped out when I met the members of the Namira coven for the first time...
Also, there was this one time outside Markarth stables or something when two dragons thought it would be funny to attack me at the same time, but the scariest part was that a third dragon was soaring...
You've probably fixed this by now, but whatever.
I had the same problem when the new patch came out, so what I did was uninstalling the new patch and reinstalling it afterwards, and it actually worked. Not sure if I did the right thing though, but at least I got rid of that problem.
