Nice, I'm the CO of my middle schools JROTC class. I plan on doing ROTC all through Highschool and college, and then go to med school (in college Ill try to do the SMP) and when I pass basic, and my asvab score is high enough, I plan on being a medical officer which is a doctor right?

Well if your looking to become a officer you wont have to do the same basic training as us enlisted guys youll do it as part of the ROTC process, and no i dont believe a medical officer is a doctor usually doctors in the military have the same requirements as a normal doctor. A medical officer is kind of a broad term it could be any kind of officer position inside a tmc.

You have a good plan though i would stick with it, you would start out makeing more money than me and ive been in the army 5 years.
