I know what you mean, it made no sense what so ever. Maybe if they actually explained themselves it wouldn't be so bad, but instead they completely ignored everyone.

Oh that. Because it is a glitch. And I mean it was a Game-Breaking Bug that took away from the experience. Assides from being "Lore-Breaking" It removes the need to actually really play the game. 
At least that is probably what they were thinking.

Apparantly here is a secret kept among tha elite gamers such as myself, stating that the Glitch still works but not with the Bookshelf....Figure that one out

Skies, that is flawed logic. Thr glitch is only game breaking an lore breaking IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE IT.
tx, using containers does not work, duplicating the Oghma Infinium with a bookshelf does still work, but none of the copies will function properly.
