Yea lol... NAZIM YOU HAVE FAILED THE WHITERUN HOLD.shoots arrow into heart.

Nazeem- "Who are you?"
Strange Man- "Call me... The Archer"
The sound of an arrow flies as a dark green figure is seen jumping the city wall.
He needs a better name, probably. Now that I think about it, Nazeem won't be calling him anything now. Also, if you don't know, this is for a conversation early in this thread.

Green Arrow would seem to fit. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Arrow
It WOULD, and the guy may be rich, but he REALLY doesn't want to deal with being sued for copyright issues. Also, if you didn't realise, he IS based on the Green Arrow.

He knew that, being rich, he would be a target for thieves, so from a young age he started to learn archery, and by the time he was an adult, he was one of the greatest marksmen in Whiterun.

And made sure to grab some... necessary supplies along the way.

And eventually he made it out.

On his way back to town, he found his brother's house burned and his own house up for sale. He found out that while he was gone, some plot against his family broke out, and most of the things his family owned no longer belong to them. He quickly realized that this was all planed out.

55th level sneaky ranger - dead center of my comfort zone with current build. :)
I just enjoy the hell out of dual-wielded sneak kills and sneakily taking out enemies mid-stride.

Bow and dual-wield axe/dagger. Ancient dark brotherhood armor (for now). I could upgrade my ebony axe, dagger (both with absorb health), and bow (with fiery soul trap) but I think I'll wait to get the chaos damage enchantment.
I just finished Forelhost for probably only the 4th time - what a blast! I haven't done much of the latter game quests so I'm going for as close to 100% completion with this character as I can get. I have all of solstheim to go (woohoo!), a few daedric quests, and probably dozens of minor quests. I only have 4-5 perks to go to get all the ones I want from my major skills (one-handed, light armor, archery, sneak, smithing). After that I'm branching out into conjuration and restoration. 250k gold should get me a good bit of training.:)

So my newest character, from my previous post, is primarily a sneaky archer. He will be able to use any other weapon if he needs to, but I plan to level him in such a way to where I'll only need to snipe from the dark. I also have his Archer outfit set in such a way, so that it hides his identity when he wears it, so no one will know it's him. I won't be playing the main quest with him probably, but I will be going around taking down as many bandits, thieves, and murderers as possible. My last post was his backstory, more or less. And I actually did all of that, so it wasn't entire fake.

Specifically I used the green variant for that post. It's for, uh, camouflage.... Yeah, that's it.

I'm currently playing a mage, I'm only 3 hours in though. I'm getting through the College quest line (the only main quest line I haven't completed yet). He is wearing the standard robes of destruction and he uses fire and lightning to carve his way through his enemies. This is only a temporary character though, when I get my new PlayStation I'll be shut indoors for a week and won't come out :D.

My current character is a dark elf named Felyn Nithryon (I used that fantasy name generator website to come up with a good-sounding Dunmer name). He's a pure mage, a member of the College of Winterhold, the Imperial Legion, the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves' Guild. I haven't put much energy into coming up with backstories for my characters, but for this one I decided that he came to Skyrim with the idea of joining the college and learning magic. He joined the legion after seeing what life as a Dunmer is like under Ulfric's rule, and besides, he believes a united empire is the only chance Tamriel has of resisting the Aldmeri Dominion.

I really wanted to avoid doing the Thieves' Guild this time around, but the game really railroads you into it and penalizes you for not joining it. Besides, I got tired of listening to Brynjolf peddling his falmer-blood elixir in the Riften marketplace after hearing him say "make love like a saber cat, or crush your enemies to death like a giant!" for the 800th time, and I wanted him to just go down to the Flagon where he'd be nice and quiet. I wanted to make this one an honorable character for a change, but yeah, the game really pressures you into it.

So I decided that my character just started going down a dark path as a result of his experiments with magic, dabbling in necromancy, and trapping bandit souls in black soul gems for enchanting items. My character concluded that being a thief and assassin isn't that far off from some of the things he was doing in quests anyway. Bounty-hunting, for instance, is basically assassination under a slightly nobler-sounding name. And Grelod really had it coming too. So, Felyn was initially going to be an honorable mage using his powers for good, but his quest for more and more magical power, combined with his need to do unsavory things to earn a living, gradually led him down a slippery slope into a darker way of life.

I also made him a vampire as part of my experiments with Illusion magic, which I've always ignored until now. Illusion is really fun! And attacking Fort Hraggstad is a LOT easier as a vampire who specializes in Illusion magic, attacking at night with Vampire's Sight. I don't want to make the game too easy of course, so I'm not doing silly things like just casting Calm spells on everyone so I can stroll through dungeons unchallenged. But Illusion is certainly useful and fun when you don't overdo it. Watching those Fort Hraggstad bandits tearing each other to pieces, rather than tearing me to pieces as they usually do, was a highly satisfying experience.

It's also an interesting challenge trying to be a pure mage assassin, trying to kill people silently without using a dagger or bow and arrow. Magic, even with silent casting, is a tricky thing to use to murder without getting caught. I find that making my targets commit "suicide by guard" with Frenzy spells often has unintended consequences such as bringing bystanders into the fight to get killed themselves. And people tend to notice lightning bolts blasting through town. I'm working on it though.

So, Felyn Nithryon, mage, thief, assassin, imperial legionary, Illusion specialist and sometime necromancer. This is probably the most fun play-through I've had yet.

I've been writing an RP character to write within an RP I'm in and decided that I wanted to get back into playing some Skyrim again. So I decided to try and adapt the character I was writing into the game in a way that I've only played once--a pure mage. Haven't done a whole lot with her yet outside of join the college and do some side quests (mainly the quest for the Agent of Mara perma-buff), but she's already really decently levelled after some magicka grinding and alchemy business. She mainly makes money through potion making, which requires a lot of travelling and collecting, and I've made it a goal of mine for her to collect every book in the game, I've done this a few times before and read the books but haven't in quite some time so I felt the need to refresh my memory.

Quite a fun build!

Gee how do i answer this ? I dont have a current character , I swop between 4 different characters as the mood takes me .

Grishnag the Orc Warrior Big weapon , heavy armour . Lord Sign . Pretty invincible but thats not his focus in life . Enjoys creating and testing the most powerful two handed elemental damage weapons . He has a mountain of those in his house . He refuses to sell any weapon until its used up its enchantment but this can take forever since most things die in one hit .

Down to earth family man . Done most of Heathfire with this guy . Bit of a thief , joined stormcloaks , Joined Dawn Guard . Married Isolda , adopted Sophie and Runa . Done main quest , Killed that wierdo Dragonborn in Solthsseim .

Xanatos , Power hungry High elf Arch Mage . Atronach Sign

Destruction and Conjuration . He collects as many super artifacts , abilities and powers as he can in his quest for Immortality . A bit evil , joined Assasin guild . Done main quest , Killed Dragonborn wierdo in Solthseim ,
Married Lydia . No kids .

Prisoner , A sneaky Breton with no name ,

My Monster or Smeagle Archtype .
Prefers to fight in vampire or werewolf form , Sneaks if he is a human . A bit of a jack of all trades. Found in mage college if he is a vampire or Jorvasker if he is a a Wolf .
Serpent sign . Married Aela and adopted Lucia .
Did the Vampire Quest , Changed his ugly face 3 times .

Otto . Average Joe Orc Thief .....I mean locksmith

Move along folks no DragonBorn here .

My most mundane character , inspired by a tabletop Half orc rogue a friend created . Ran to join the sewer thieves as soon as he escaped Helgen .He has done almost nothing for Skyrim except guild jobs and a small bit of work for the Stormcloaks. Makes a ton of gold stealing and spends it all on thief tutors . Useless in combat but excellent Thief . Started main quest at level 30 only . You want a dragon free skyrim ? Skip the main quest XD . Perhaps Bob is the greatest hero ever for not waking dragons in the first place .

Shadow Star Sign .
Single , no kids .

My new character is an Argonian named Okan-Gei. For backstory, I've given him a background as a bandit in Black Marsh.

He grew up in poverty in a poor village dominated by an oppressive lord. After his parents died of hunger, he committed his first murder when he slipped into the lord’s home and bashed his head in with his own mace as he slept. He then fled and turned to a life of crime for survival. He was caught pickpocketing and imprisoned. He made friends with a handful of other prisoners, with whom he broke out of jail during a riot and then formed a bandit gang that terrorized the countryside. Their hideout was discovered and surrounded, and the group was annihilated. Okan-Gei escaped, but his face and name were known and a high price was put on his head, so he had to flee his homeland.

Deciding that life as a bandit is too chaotic and precarious, he had heard rumors of disciplined guilds of thieves and assassins to be found in Skyrim, which he thought might give him the opportunity to hone his skills, and provide a more secure existence than that of a bandit living in the swamps and attacking passing travelers for uncertain gain. He knew Skyrim to be fragmented by civil war, with the authority of the jarls barely reaching beyond their city walls; an opportune place for a life of crime. He was also interested in Illusion magic for its potential applications to thievery and assassination, due to one of his fellow bandits having been a practitioner, and he knew that the College of Winterhold would be the best place to learn it. So, he traveled to Skyrim and took the name Okan-Gei, which is not his original name, but he felt he needed to form a new identity since he was wanted under his own name in Black Marsh.

He answers the call of the Dragonborn, not out of any particularly noble sentiment on his part, but because it’s a chance to put his name down in history as something more than a backwoods marauder. Besides, there are few famous Argonians, and he feels this is a chance to raise his people to a higher stature among the races of Tamriel.

Politically, he sympathizes with the Stormcloaks and is considering joining them. Despite the mistreatment of Argonians in Windhelm, he views the empire as weak and incapable of resisting the Aldmeri Dominion, which he regards as an aggressive threat to all of Tamriel. Okan-Gei feels that a Skyrim ruled by the Stormcloaks would be a powerful realm capable of resisting the Thalmor. Besides, in Okan-Gei's view, the empire is no friendlier to Argonians than Ulfric is. This view was reinforced by the time General Tullius tried to execute him in Helgen for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He wears light armor so he can move quickly and quietly. He prefers to kill from the shadows with a bow and arrow, as he often did as a bandit in the swamps, but he's not afraid to go hand-to-hand. When it comes to that, he favors the mace. Despite that it's an ungainly weapon and a sword would be faster and lighter and more consistent with the rest of his inventory, the mace is the weapon with which he killed the lord who exploited his parents, so he feels a special attachment to it. Besides, he likes the feel of caving in the skulls of his enemies. A mace is a good weapon with which to vent one's rage, raw and powerful.

I've started playing the game again after a long break (been playing other games), and here is the character I created this time:

Ragnhild is a Nord archer/alchemist/cook who has currently spent 18 hours in Haafingar (alternate start mod; started at the Temple of the Divines) doing all sorts of odd jobs and crafting various items. She keeps a journal (another mod; a literal in-game journal that I write in), and starts every morning with some exercise.

She was created using Porchdrinker's system, which gave her various characteristics.

Most recently cleared out Broken Oar Grotto for a bounty. It took all day long, even though I've set the timescale to 10 rather than the default 20, because Ragnhild is extremely inexperienced with her bow at the moment. I also keep the crosshair, along with various other HUD elements disabled, so aiming is a matter of skill and experience.

Here she is:
Ragnhild2.jpg

(Yes, this is Skyrim SE, with a lot of mods.)

I have been getting back into Skyrim again recently. I was always annoyed that the main storyline decides for you that you are dragonborn. I think that should be a toggleable feature. Thanks to the mod- Skyrim Unbound it now is.
I play a Brenton hunter. He is a peaceful law abiding citizen. He will not kill unless it is in self defense or to feed himself or his family. He was abandoned as a baby in Riverwood and looked after by Hod and his wife.
I started the game with nothing but farm clothes, no gold and no spells. There are no dragons, no word walls. My character Evan doesn't use magic. He only uses a bow or a knife for survival.
After working many days on the farm., he finally got enough money to travel to Riften and buy an amulet of mara. They married and now living at her house in Whiterun. When they save enough from their store profits they hope to buy the Breezehome. One day, Evan hopes to move out west build his own home and hunt the most dangerous animals and collect trophies for their home. Maybe someday adopt a couple kids.

Esther, a Nord stealth archer (that class is just too much fun to not do). I'm using a mod to have armoured circlets; they've the exact same stats as the corresponding helmets, so it's just a visual change basically.
Just about to hit level 30, in the middle of the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines. I plan to hunt down all achievements I'm missing, which is all base game factions except CoW, the MQ after reading the Elder Scroll, Oblivion Walker, and bunch of other (mostly DLC) stuff.
