Yo, so, just wanted to share this with you guys.
Basically, I wanted the Bonehawk ring that you can only get in Castle Volkihar but since you can only get in the castle from the front gate is if you’ve already started the Dawnguard quest line. But I really couldn’t be bothered so I just went round the back where I know there’s a door that’s only guarded by a few dragur - you need a key for the door but it’s simple enough to open with console commands (click the door and type ‘unlock’ into the menu thing). And I walk in, ready to quickly run through and find a way into the main castle when I hear a female voice shouting behind me. I turn around and low and behold whose behind me - Serana. She just appeared and now won’t leave me alone - ah well.
And yes, before you ask I did figure out there isn’t a non-cheaty way into the castle so I just clipped through the gate to get the ring.
