Is there really magic in the Skyforge? If not, then why is my Nord Hero greatsword at damage 150 and dragonbone and Daedric in the 130 range? And my Wolf armor pieces are rated higher than both as well? Wolf armor Cuirass at 295 while others in 270 range. I can’t figure it out. Thought maybe some of the experts might have some answers.

I have smithing and enchanting both at 100, fully perked. I’m wearing Four pieces of fortify smithing at like 28% each. I also used fortify smithing potions at 50%. When I use all that to improve Wolf Armor and Nord Hero weapons I get higher ratings on these “Skyforge creations”, than any other kind. I can’t get anything else, be it dragonbone, Daedric, Stalhrim, etc to pass Eorlands Wolf Armor or the Nord hero weapons after smithing improvements. Maybe there is something special with the Skyforge?
