  • Heya, thanks for latest rep! :) Ondolemar's one of my favorites and one of the more intriguing characters I've come across in the game. I strongly suspect he's not entirely in lock-step with the others. It's...a feeling I get. I do wonder if becoming friends with him alters some faction in the game coding to make the Thalmor less hostile or at least less inclined to hunt you down in the forest or some such thing.
Hey, mate! Thanks a lot for the rep and compliment on my story! I am considering taking it to a grand scale in terms of the length, plot, etc of the story, so any critique appreciated as well. Also, I don't mean to seem like I'm fishing for readers, but of course if you know anyone on here or otherwise, who'd be interested in reading it feel free to let em know! Thanks again mate.
Looking forward to your Dwemer fanfic!

Thank you very much...I only hope I do them justice and don't let the community down with my patchy (but improving) knowledge of lore!

What you've been doing in your attempts to gather information is quite admirable! Many people tend to poo-poo lore and related contexts, calling it fluff and unnecessary minutia. Seems to me that if you want a story that appears as seamless as possible, you'll need to engage the lore. I think it's fun stuff anyway, but then...I'm an historian as well as a creative writer. :p
What's your "Dawn of the Dwemer, coming soon" signature in reference to? It made me curious lol.

On top of that the dwemer have always been a bit isolationist, they're called deep elves for a reason. So as far as them taking a role as a uniter... they would have to be motivated by something besides self preservation, like the altmer's downfall, etc.

I would put a lot of thought into the dwemer's absence especially. Did they hide away? Did they go to Aetherius? Were they sent forward in time like others were in Skyrim's plot? And most importantly; did they achive divinity, if so at what cost, and do they retain said divinity.

Sorry for all the comments, I got carried away typing and wen way over the character limit. From a fellow writer, good luck!

From the depths of my heart, thank you for that information...

I was actually intending on having the Dwemer and the Time Wound intertwined...you'll have to see how though! Lol
