Question about Orc Lore?

Hi, i'm new here and was wondering about your opinions on this topic. If Orcs are suppost to be fearless warriors and amazing in battle, then why has Orsinium been sacked so many times by Redguards, Bretons, etc. I love Orcs, but this always puzzled me, surely fearsome warriors would be able to repel invasions such as these. Just wanted to see what your views were. Thanks

Plus, they were attacked during an already substantial population drop, and some say that the first siege was backed by Tsaesci.
