Do you have links so I can read specifics?
But I think there is a very strange situation where international incidents aren't being treated as such. Cause no one wants to big a scene with all the pl*** around the world hitting the fan.
Russia and the West are now engaging in a tit-for-tat battle of the sanctions.

Its expected, really, can't imagine Russia would take those sanctions lying down. Ukraine is now thinking of applying sanctions to Russia as well, mostly refusing to host a pipeline going through the country. Ridiculous if you ask me, Ukraine is certainly not in a position to be sanctioning either side, they may be a little too confident with their new EU relationship.
Seems as though they are stinging a bit so I imagine the West will amp their sanctions up to include the whole of Russia, not just Putin's circle. Russia exponentially increased trade with South American countries immediately following their food ban so this has been in the making for a while.
In other news, Canada has provided non-lethal humanitarian aid to the Kiev military which I am apathetic about. Canada has an extremely high population of Ukrainians but I can't help but see this move as a political move by our Prime Minister for the upcoming election, he's been very vocal about Canada's position on international issues lately which I am not a fan of.
Ukraine is wrapping up their conflict with the rebels with a final push soon so who knows what will happen after. I feel as though we've entered our generation's Cold War regardless of the result in Ukraine.
