Nephor The Shadow Stalker
Strike swiftly and silently.
Hello old friends and newcomers. Been a while since I've wanted to write anything but I feel I must ask. I like many others suffered from Skyrim fatigue. I poured hours upon hours of my time developing a master build. After a while it became a bit of a chore. Now with the purchase of a PS4 and slightly prettier graphics and some fun but bland mods my interest has resurfaced ten fold.
With this new found curiosity I decide to venture out my comfort zone of the shadows and RP as myself. I could've chosen Nord because I am German but I decided to go Breton for a more D&D style play. Like making myself a half-elf in Baldur's Gate. [emoji12] I became inspired by Fudge Muppet's Arcane Warrior build and ran about 30 hours with it and noticed that there wasn't much Arcane about it. After debating on archery or destruction for ranged damage I decided to make a Spellsword/Battlemage.
Now with this new build it's going to cap out at 60 and a littlw beyond that because one does not simply play Skyrim for a few minutes. Now enough yapping onto my build. I've decided to go with Heavy Armor. Now I didn't care for it because all the heavy stuff looked like it was made to sell toys save a the Blades Armor and Nordic Carved. While we're on that I'm taking Smithing only up to advanced armors and grabbing arcane blacksmith for further improvment on tank. One-Handed won't need much besides the standard 7 points to get the ever cool decapitation perk savage strike. Alchemy is the key to this build and I'm working on it over all the other crafting skills but it only needs 7 points up to poisoner for those extra hard hitting fire attacks. Last is magic. I don't really like any of the master spells so I'm only going up to expert in Alteration (whilst also grabbing magic resistance, stability and atronach) and Destruction. Specialising in fire magic. Dual casting isn't essential but it's nice to have variety and impact is a must have for obvious reasons. Last is Conjuration, only novice and up to soul stealer. Oblivion binding is handy but it's situational and most conjurer's don't summon dremora lords. [emoji12]
So what's your build, do you plan on going beyond level 50 and do you venture out your comfort zone often with play styles?
